Deputy President David Mabuza, will on Saturday, 02 October 2021, continue with the launch of thr Vooma Vaccination Weekend Campaign in Bloemfontein, Free State Province. Joining the Deputy President will be the Premier of the Free State, Sisi Ntombela, Members of the Executive Council of the Free State, and Members of the Executive Committee. 
 
Through the joint efforts of leaders across various sectors, the Vooma Vaccination Weekend aims to mobilise all legible citizens to get vaccinated as part of the country’s on-going efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. This campaign gives effect to the call by President Ramaphosa for every Minister, Premier and Mayor to convene at least one prominent event in every district in the country to support and encourage people to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
This includes providing information and taking the vaccination sites into communities and homes.
 
 Members of the Media are invited to attend the Vooma Vaccination Weekend as follows:

Venue: Universitas Academic Hospital, Bloemfontein 
Time: 10:30am
 
Site 2:
Venue: Pelonomi Academic Hospital, Bloemfontein
Time: TBC
 
The delegation will do a walk about at the sites to interact with, and encourage those who have come to vaccinate and urge them to complete their chosen vaccination schedule and to encourage their families, colleagues and other members of the community to choose vaccination.
