2019 Presidential Inauguration Ceremony state of readiness media briefing

The Inter-Ministerial Committee (IMC) on the Presidential Inauguration led by the Minister in the Presidency, Dr Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, will host a media briefing on the state of readiness by government to host the 2019 Presidential Inauguration. 

South Africa will on, Saturday, 25 May 2019 host the Inauguration Ceremony of its 6th President Elect following the successful Provincial and General Election process held on 8 May 2019 and the announcement of results on Saturday, 11 May 2019. 

Members of the media are invited to cover the media briefing as follows:

Time: 11h00
Venue: Room 153 Union Buildings, Pretoria  

Media covering the briefing are advised to confirm attendance by submitting their personal details:  Name and Surname and ID number to Ireen@gcis.gov.za  by 16h00, 15 May 2019. 

Access to the venue will only be granted to media that have confirmed attendance.  

Attending journalists are further advised to bring along a South African ID or Passport to access the Union Buildings.
